Tasting notes
The color is bright dark ruby with thick rim.
The wine looks rich with a noticeable presence of Glycerol with the legs of the wine appearing on the glass.
At first we can feel the presence of alcohol but very subtle. The nose is very light at the beginning and it needs a little time to slowly open up to discover notes of outdoors and rustic aromas, touches of oak and pepper.
This wine is young so we can notice the presence of alcohol but delicate. Once the wine opens we can feel rusticity and berries. We can notice the presence of tannins which will help the smooth aging process. As time goes by, the sensation develops of a velvety feeling on the finale. Finish is lengthy, young and pleasant.
Pair with any red meat, especially barbequed steak or meat sauce pastas and pizza
