Latitude 46 Estate Winery
Bright plum colour with very thick rim.
The wine shows numerous legs, indicative of its higher alcohol content and a good presence of glycerol and anthocyans.
Dark fruit aromas dominate the nose, which opens slowly to blackcurrant, strawberries, dark cherries,
with strong tannins, and mushrooms, reminding one of the great outdoors. There is a strong presence of alcohol.
After a few minutes we can notice presence of mineral hints, sweet berries, and tannins.
Presence of flavours like pepper, spices, chocolate.
The finish is strong and lengthy with a presence of tannins, a good sign that the wine will age well.
Drinks well now but will to age to develop its potential.
Pairs well with any red meat, especially peppercorn steak or venison.
